Anderson, PhD I have known Everett for 35 years and have observed him at his best as a writer, counselor, consultant and trainer...and now he has written a book that has true restoration power for those who are hurting because of past injuries, whether they be emotional or self-inflicted grief from addictions. He will help you not only Dump the Junk in Your Trunk but clear out your closet and live in the present for a purpose. This book brings everything about personal growth and renewal together in one book: It is beautifully integrated with insights from psychology, philosophy and his Christian perspective on healing. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to get "clear" of their past and live more fully in the present with optimism for the future.

It takes the reader through a unique journey of dealing with the pain of their past and step by step walks them through the healing process into the light of wholeness and spiritual health. It is well written and easy to follow. The activities are challenging and cause the reader to examine what is holding them back from freedom and joy in their lives. It is a must read for all who are hurting and have no idea how to stop the pain that they live with on a daily basis. I encourage you to take the challenge and read this book!
