If you don't, they'll make you want to move there. Tony's stories will move you to laughter, tears, and wonderment. Sometimes all in the same paragraph! His connection to the rich history of the Roaring Fork Valley and unique perspective on ranching and living in such a beautiful place will captivate you. His stories will have you feeling like you're in the saddle of the horse following his as you wind up the mountain trails, experiencing the life of a rancher and all the challenges that come with the lifestyle. But, lest you think Tony's stories are one-dimensional, you'll next find yourself racing down the slopes with Tony as he describes the exhilaration of world class skiing in the formative years of Aspen area ski resorts. The historical perspective of Aspen changing from mining town to resort destination is just an added bonus that comes with a master storyteller. Highly recommended!

I know that I will enjoy both Tony's and Terry's books, because I have vacationed almost every Winter and many Summers in Aspen, since 1950.Through these books and their stories, I see myself and the pure love I have for Aspen, the town, the people I have gotten to know through the years, and the unbelievable beauty of all it's surroundings.
