About the Author Susan Fuller is a seven-time gestational surrogate mother who has delivered nine surrogate children over the course of twelve years. By Kathy Powers Fantastic resource that every intended parent should read before considering surrogacy! Susan so eloquently discusses and shares many aspects of surrogacy that agencies don't mention! I especially like her "Ask yourself" prompts! These really help intended parents to put themselves in the situation and consider their feelings (and those of their surrogate.) The companion Successful Surrogacy Journal is beautiful and helps intended parents be mindful about their journey! The quotes inside are beautiful and meaningful! As a four-time surrogate myself, I praise Susan for encapsulating the many facets of surrogacy and sharing her knowledge and experiences so that others may benefit from them! Thank you!

The journey of surrogacy is such a wonderful, emotional roller coaster for all involved and this guide truly puts it all into perspective. As the intended parent, I had so many questions, but not as many answers. I would suggest this guide for anyone considering gestational surrogacy. It is honest and thoughtful and helps you see all perspectives. We enjoyed a loving journey with Susan. Our families were intimately involved and celebrated with us throughout her pregnancy. My boys love their "angel" Susan and we so enjoy our special bond that has grown over the years. Our gestational surrogate became a part of our family and we wouldn't have had it any other way!!

I *really* wish Susan had written this book 10 years ago when I was first starting my own surrogacy journey (as an IF)! My partner and I worked independently with a Traditional Surrogate (TS) but most, if not all, of the advice/guidance that Susan provides in her book is applicable to both kinds of surrogacies. Anyone considering surrogacy should definitely read this book. Susan brings a wealth of personal experience and knowledge to the subject matter and provides wonderful insights into this [mostly] rewarding process.
