About the Author HEATHER STEVENS As a pastor’s kid from small-town Granger, IN, Heather Stevens grew up behind-the-scenes of the local church. However, while her love of writing started early, her passion for the Church didn’t develop until her late teen years. In college she interned for several different churches, including Granger Community Church and Cross Point Church. In 2013, when all the “20-somethings-areleaving-the-church” hype started, she realized she could do something about it. Everyone writing about the topic was 30 and older, and while most of them were well-respected leaders in the Church, she had something none of them had: the mindset of a 20-something. Heather graduated in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in Communications and currently resides in Nashville, TN, where she enjoys running, writing, and painting in her free time. Learning from the stories of a 20-something's journey across America By Robert Adams As the parent of 4 young adults (2 20-somethings & 2 early 30-somethings) AND a consultant serving the Church, I really resonate with the premise behind Heather Stevens' new book "#20s Church." Every church leader both hears and often utters the cry, "we've got to do something or we're going to lose the young generation." What's true in 2015 was no less true in 1975 - and probably true in 1915."#20s Church" is a quick, 2-part read: the first is the stories Heather and her friends discovered on their journey, and the second is a simple guide for church leaders as they seek to apply the wisdom they read from Heather.But while "#20s Church" has its origins and main purpose rooted in the perspective of the 20-something generation, the message is much more powerful: "20-somethings aren't the Church of tomorrow, we're a part of the Church of today. By Aaron Seeing as 20(year old) somethings are leaving the church at a fast pace, this was a great book on helping understand some of the reasoning possibly why that is happening. It was a short easy book to read which went straight to the point. The five points are pretty standard and straight forward for most, but even more stressed for 20's now.

By Warren R Stevens Well written by a young women with a passion for the success of church's reaching out to her age group. Her travels across America to visit church's that do this well is very informative.
