About the Author
Bobby Harrington is the co-founder of discipleship.org and the founding and lead pastor of Harpeth Christian Church (19 years). He is the chairman of the board for the Relational Discipleship Network and the co-author of DiscipleShift, Dedicated: Training Your Children to Trust and Follow Jesus, and Discipleship that Fits. He has been married to Cindy for over 35 years and they have two adult children who are disciples of Jesus.

3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. Buy one for you and one (or two) as a gift! By H Pawlak I was able to read “Dedicated” in one week, simply because the writing is easy and engaging. While the concepts weren’t new to me, the book brought out a renewed purpose and a focus on the approaching end goal of my parenting days. I believe that each family who reads this book will gain at least one new focus that they can implement into their day to day parenting. Since we are such forgetful people, this is a great resource to go back to every couple of years and pick out a new nugget of discipling to commit to over the next few months.The book encouraged me to begin putting together a series of devotional booklets for families on the go in our church. Our family has enjoyed the family time discussing God's word.I have already bought this as a gift for my sister-in-law and recommended it to a few of my friends. It would be a wonderful shower gift, or a pick-me-up gift for that discouraged parent you know, or as a thank you to the volunteers in your church. If you are going to buy one today, you may as well go ahead and buy two because you will want to share this book with those in your circle.

I loved the format of the book By Tressa Gibbs What an important book on the most important task we as parents have...to raise our children to trust and follow Jesus! I loved the format of the book, using three different voices, all coming from different perspectives on the topic. The book was convicting for my family to focus on the most important thing in the home (discipleship), and it gave so many practical ways we can do this. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to make this a priority in their home and wants a roadmap to help them do it.

By H This is an excellent resource for those people who want to raise their children to know and follow Jesus. It is an easy and practical read - there are many insights and lots of practical tips on how to do this. In our church, we are thinking of giving this as a gift to all parents at our baby dedication services.
