"Slingshot" Past Your Training Plateau
This is a high-volume bodybuilding bodypart training and workout program for the advanced trainee. 0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. This program is the real deal! By Aaron Jewell I recently completed 4 months on the slingshot program and absolutely loved it! As an advanced trainee with close to 20 years of training and national level bodybuilding experience, I have suffered a number of injuries that prevent me from training "heavy" the majority of the time. With the slingshot program my joints and connective tissue felt great and I was able to get amazing pumps during my workouts. I really enjoyed the flexibility within the program that allows one to choose the exercises they employ (provided they stick to the program guidelines in terms of sets, rep ranges, etc). I am now 5 weeks into my next program and have noticed dramatic increases in muscle fullness, power and strength as carryover effects from the slingshot program. I highly recommend this program to not only increase the results from your training, but also to increase your enjoyment of training! Throughout the duration of the time I spent using the slingshot program, I felt invigorated and energized from my workouts and really noticed a positive endorphin release. This had me looking forward to every workout and loving every minute of the training process!! Try it out and see for yourself.....

The autonomy in selecting exercises in the program framework was especially motivating. The strength and size effects are really seen in the program done after this one, the 'slingshot' effect. As an advanced trainer, rarely do you see an increase in load and usually turn to other intensity options like shorter rest periods etc. However, the intentional overtraining this method uses beats you down farther than you are used to, coaxing the body to respond in the more recovery based program done after this one with an appropriate rest period in between. This gave me strength and cosmetic increases I hadn't seen in a very long time. If you've been training for years and haven't seen any perceptible changes for a while, definitely do what Scott has laid out here. You won't be disappointed with the results if you put the work in.

By Andy Sinclair Once again Scott is ahead of the curve in the physique enhancement industry, I've been a full coaching client of Coach Abel for over a decade and can personally validate the effectiveness of a properly timed slingshot program. If you're an advanced trainee chances are you've hit a wall in regards to many aspects of your training, a properly applied overshoot program will do exactly that and slingshot you past your previous plateaus and best, without pin balling from program to program or throwing in at random whatever is in training vogue in the industry at the time. With Coach Abel its always whats best for YOU right NOW and if you're a serious and focused athlete with mature development then this is most likely a great fit.
