About the Author Mechelle (Shelle) McDermott was born and raised in Arizona. She graduated from Utah State University with a teaching degree. She has taught both high school and college. She is the author of "Finding Peace - When The Devil Visits" She is an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She has been an early morning seminary teacher and a Gospel Doctrine teacher. She is married to Reed and they have raised seven children.

17 of 18 people found the following review helpful. Those who are prepared need not fear. By AFear We have been told that the saints will gather to the mountains in scriptures and prophecies. This book gathers those for-warnings into one place and makes a possible timeline for the events that we know will happen before Jesus Christ's Second Coming. This is a motivating read to remind us to be prepared as our Prophets have counseled. Even though I have read most of the books the author suggests, I've found this book very helpful and ordered copies for my family. Those who are prepared need not fear.

22 of 27 people found the following review helpful. I only enjoyed the beginning of this book. By S. Wagstaff I did find the beginning of this book interesting. McDermott listed details from several sources regarding their personal dreams, visions, etc. of the state of the world shortly before the coming of Christ. But after that the book went down hill quickly for me for two reasons. One is that she inserts her personal agenda (namely anti-Obama, anti-Palestine, and anti-United Nations) into the text of her book, even though I can't see how any of these topics tie to any specific dreams, visions, etc. which she discusses in her material. The other problem I had was a lack of references and inaccurate representation of facts. When I tried to research some of her assertions, most of the information could only be found on blogs or extreme right wing websites. And much of the information (such as John Taylor actually being the author of the John Taylor Vision) I found to be arguable when checked against other sources.
