Being a student, I’m really struggling to reach the end of the month without seeing my bank statement in red!! BUT, I will never give up on my body because of my bank account. I believe taking care of your body is by far the most important thing in life, and thus instead of paying an expensive gym subscription I started to look for alternatives. I stumbled upon calisthenics and bodyweight workouts… Perfect! I was a little bit skeptical at first, because the author is a man, but after reading a bit further he explains that he’s a former gym instructor! Professional and trustworthy exercises are found in this book together with programs made specifically for us, girls! Don’t waste your money, these exercises are… PERFECT!!

My girlfriend started working out a couple of weeks ago but isn’t entirely sure what she’s doing. She’s too shy to ask other people, so I decided to help her out a little bit. I’m somewhat familiar with gym exercises, even though I’m not an expert like the author. This book contains detailed exercises and workout programs for beginners and intermediates. So, the other night I just showed her this book on my Kindle device to see if she was interested and guess what? She got her motivation back, and is sometimes actually doing two routines on a day, haha! I admire her for her passion and determination, but I also wanted to give a shout out to the author and let him (and the others) know that he’s done a terrific job on this book!

Finkel I totally agree and I’m tired as well about the fact that every single book about exercises is dedicated to men… It makes no sense, and I’m glad this author realized it. This book will take you through the best calisthenics exercises, tips and benefits and guides you with the help of different workout programs. The information provided in this book is correct and accurate. It’s not a lose 10 pounds per week program, no. You’ll have to work for it, but calisthenics makes it very easy as you can perform the exercises anywhere and at any time. If you’re interested in the butt workout, you don’t even have to leave your couch! I think this book can be very helpful for many women, and that’s why I support this book! Don’t get discouraged by all the male versions.
