That’s why it’s so important to read Mindfulness: Taming the Monkey Mind A Beginner's Guide to Use Mindfulness, Meditation, and Breathing to Calm Your Brain by Mitchell Wagner. Mitchell starts out by clearly defining the enemies which are stress, anxiety, and regret. He maps what you will learn in this book strategically by explaining what your monkey mind is, how your brain works, and addressing the topic of mindfulness and how it can tame your brain.As the book moves on, by chapter three you will be provided with an easy mindfulness plan to follow for three week. He goes on to explain how it takes 21 days to ingrain a habit and by the end of that time, you will have made mindfulness a part of your daily life. Mitchell also maps out a brief history of the brain which is perfect for developing the much-needed insight you will need in your path towards tackling the stress beast.Covering topics like, what stress does to your body, mindful exercises like breathing, walking, and meditation, Mitchell takes you down the path to living a stress-free and mindful existence. I was given this product in exchange for my opinion which is exactly as expressed. I highly recommend this book as it remind us that your brain is like a monkey, but you can train it if you try and some excellent steps you can take to deal with chronic stress.

You will be coached on how to put your mind at peace, away from anxiety, stress and regrets. Our minds at times were overruled by negativity and that will always hinder our productivity, drive and joy in our lives. The book only has four chapters; it explains how stress takeovers your brain, address the topic of mindfulness and provides plans. The last chapter will give some practical guidelines on how to incorporate the practices you have learned into your everyday life. This book is very useful to me, it taught me how to fight negative emotions and have a healthy mindset
