It could have saved my skin and my pocketbook. After telling my daughters, we are going to have a makeup making party this weekend. Thanks for the tip to start with small amounts. We are going to start with base, liquid foundation and blusher. If all goes well, we might try eyeliner and lipstick. I think they are going to love it! they can expand their makeup collection faster, cheaper and with non-toxic, home made products. Thank you for all the great info.

I don't go outside without make-up on. Reading through this book I realized that the author is right. I am not really that much aware of what the cosmetic products I use are made of. For me, this book is an eye-opener when it comes to the danger that some cosmetic products may cause. I like this book as it promotes all natural and do it yourself make-up. The instructions were easy to follow though it maybe hard to look for some of the ingredients. Good thing about this is that you are aware of what you are putting on to your face. I will have this recommended.

Homemade makeup, homemade lotion, shampoo, deodorant, foundations, concealers--almost anything that we use daily! What is even more amazing is that the ingredients in all recipes are all natural, without the damaging and toxic chemicals that we usually get from store bought products.
