GETTING ALLIES IN HELL By david elliott There really is nothing to worry about doing this kind of magick,in fact I found that I had less to worry about because I did this kind of magick because it worked so well.Don't get the idea that this is all negative stuff ,it really isn't,nor is it scary to use once you get over the christian ideas of duality.Remenber that you have 72 names of god,72 angels of the name AND 72 demons of the name, no priority is given to the angels they are offered equally with the demons.The demons are really as multi-faceted as the angels,all angels are not nice and fluffy,and all demons are not brimstone stinking loonies some of them are really cool and soft.You're not worshiping these beings,you are commanding them,you will not be their servant if you just remember that they are yours.

By duncanfife this author has some excellent books. he has a style that iseasy to read and yet contains a lot of information. even thoughmost of his books average about only 30 pages, they are betterthan most of the 300 plus pages books out there. even though i havenot yet found any books of magic that i got results from the ritualsi think that this authors books of magic would probably work formost people.

2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. The real Lenten experience By Robert M This is the best lenten book I have ever read and each year for decades I pick a new book to read. If you are a Franciscan I would give this another 5 stars because she is a second order poor clare sister. This book taught me and continues to teach me the true meaning of lent every day. I have learned so much that my pastor is thinking about the questions I am asking. It is bringing me closer to God and I am gaining knowledge about my own stumbling blocks. The meditations are worth reading a couple of times during the day just to keep centered on what lent means. It's not about giving up chocolate. It about giving up what is blocking you from conversion and repentance. Mother hits you square in the eye, so don't expect a nice platitude for each day. This is a serious but joyful book for people who want to at least try to make the turn to find the way as she puts it. In a joyful way, she brings you closer and closer to the Easter event and heightens the anticipation of what lies ahead. And what lies ahead is the joy she feels from the wisdom she has gained and in sharing it with all of us.

History of many of the different people who are or were killers. Section on women is kind of interesting since we don't hear as much about them. I enjoyed the little balloons on the side of pages with little tidbits of more unknown facts about the subject. I received this product free for my honest and unbiased review.

While the information on each individual killer is not terribly in depth, the book does a great job at giving psychological highlights as to the different types of serial killers. It also has well done infographics and photos. If you're a heavy reader this book won't take you long. I received a copy of this book for my honest review.

The story begins when Grit of Birth and Stone receives her sixteen brands, one for each year she’s lived. I could practically feel the pain, Grit felt as each sizzle of the iron burned against her forearm. We learn rather quickly that Grit’s mother, Berth, and her share no love for each other. Grit’s world is harsh and unrelenting. She must survive sixteen days as she is hunted by her closes ally, Coil, and the well-grounded warrior, Turf of Elna and Bord.I won’t give away what happens next, but it is a roller-coaster of excitement. Throughout the book Grit struggles against her anger, but is guided by the gentle hand of Kinsmon. Grit of Birth and Stone is a spirited fighter with a damaged heart. 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Can't wait for the next one! By A. Beerends Honestly requires me to admit that I discovered this book due to a connection to the author's sister. But as a fan of Narnia, Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, and Hunger Games, I was immediately intrigued by the opening line of the description about Grit being banished at age 16. What did she do? What's going on?? I was not disappointed. Grit's world is well-crafted and revealed to the reader through the story telling with just enough details to understand the world and story and to keep you intrigued and guessing about what is coming next. Grit is a strong female protagonist, but also one that is easily identified with as she is still coming of age (even though she thinks she has it all figured out in the beginning).I'm struggling to write more without spoiling it for future readers! The ending was just enough to satisfy on that part of the story and make me anxious for the next book!!

From the Author I believe literature should seek to challenge, to ask difficult questions, to be subversive at times.  Milk discusses a topic that fascinates me, despite being a little dark or taboo, so I sought to shine light on it with the intention of opening a dialogue. The idea was to take the most vilified subset of society and ask whether the legal definitions and social definitions surrounding them are perhaps too 'black and white'. I was careful not to glorify, but I wanted it to be at times uncomfortable to read. It treads a fine line and I think I've been relatively successful. What has surprised and fascinated me most is the gender split in terms of reaction to the story, with many women reading it as a straight romance, albeit one with a message, and men often reading it as a tale of abuse.- MJ Meads

2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. It has a sense of minimalism to it that I enjoyed. Every scene By Fia Essen I suffer from an incurable case of wanderlust. The urge to venture into the unknown is constantly with me. Nothing thrills me more than surprises. That’s why I prefer stories that take me somewhere unexpected. I want a book to bring me on a journey of discovery and MILK by MJ Meads did just that.MILK is a well-crafted story about Becky, a young girl struggling to cope with tragic and difficult changes, and the thirty-something Mike who drives his car to her rescue in the very first chapter. The writing is superb but refrains from condescending to the reader. It has a sense of minimalism to it that I enjoyed. Every scene, event, and exchange between characters feels vital to the story. You will not find any deadwood in this tale.To be honest, I don’t particularly enjoy the company of teenage girls in real life. The ones I’ve encountered tend to travel in packs, shriek for no apparent reason, and have no qualms about jumping the queue for the bus. Having said this, I grew to like Becky. At times, she comes across as wise beyond her years. And then you’ll turn the page and discover she is contemplating something endearingly juvenile. She is clever and quite funny. Following her train of thought was an experience I won’t soon forget. I’m certain even the most cynical and hard-hearted readers will find themselves warming up to Becky when they get to know her.There is a moral in every good story. The moral of this story can be summed in in a quote from the author himself, "Love not, lest ye be loved." It asks some tough questions about relationships and romance, and it compels the reader to ponder the consequences of allowing oneself to fall in love.Bottomline: MILK is a 5 Star novel.

Colorful metaphors mix with wonderful descriptions to paint pictures of the places and events the primary characters, Becky and Mike, experience. It is told in the first person, through the eyes of Becky, and reads much like I would expect a teenage girl’s diary would - taking place mostly in the Becky’s mind. Both primaries have unique personalities and their thoughts and actions always seem appropriate to their characters. Some details about each are hidden and only revealed as the story unfolds.The story roped me in quickly, mostly, I surmise, because it is so easy to identify with the insecurities and problems that plague Becky. My curiosity remained high throughout. There are some very minor mistakes in grammar and punctuation (but probably no more than this review contains), and the page formatting is a bit odd, but nothing that would impair your ability to read it. Love stories are absolutely not my genre, but I really enjoyed this one. Overall a highly-recommended book.

Characters seemed alive and had distinct personalities. After reading the ending, I found myself going back to read some sections again to see if I had missed something or just hadn't caught everything the first time through. It is worth reading.
