7 of 8 people found the following review helpful. A Skilled Hunter Encounters the Top Predator By Admiralu This was a great story of an encounter. The author is a very experienced woodsman with extensive experience in the wild from a young age. I always enjoy tales where people who have a great deal of experience in the wild learn that there are indeed things in the woods they didn't expect. The author tells of his many forays into the woods and his obvious love of nature. Despite that he has an early encounter he isn't quite sure about and doesn't take his father's advice to not return to that section of woods. He later doesn't take his own advice and finally learns that we are not the top of the chain in the wild. A great book and I hope that Mr. Connelly will write more books about his experiences.

I live in Oregon too.....so.......YIKES!!!! I sure hope Mr Connelly gets in touch with Wes Germer, of Sasquatch Chronicles Podcast, and tells his amazing encounter on the Air.
