About the Author Stanley V. Udd grew up on an Iowa farm. He was challenged early in life to live committed to God, so the intersection of Bible and science seemed a natural niche. His doctorate in Old Testament studies, an advanced degree in ecology, and forty years of teaching and reflection spawned this book.

As I read it, I was amazed by the intellectual yet comprehensible language used to present facts about the first chapters of Genesis that were new thoughts to me. My mind was stretched in a good way, and I am more knowledgable about this now. Solidly Biblical and riveting to any Old Testament scholar. I highly recommend this for anyone looking for insights on Genesis, especially creation and the flood. I will most certainly obtain a copy of this for my own personal library and will use it as a gift for my thinking friends.

Enns I have thoroughly profited from reading this book, which grabs your attention and leads you to new insights about Creation. It is a very thought-provoking but reader-friendly presentation of solid Biblical truth that could only be obtained through years of deep scholarly research in both Biblical studies as well as in science.
