About the Author J. Daniel Day was a pastor for more than forty years and is now Pastor Emeritus of the First Baptist Church of Raleigh, North Carolina. He also spent five years on the faculty of Campbell University Divinity School in Buies Creek, North Carolina, teaching worship and preaching. A native Oklahoman, he earned masters (M.Div.) and doctoral (Ph.D.) degrees from Southwestern Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. He and his wife are the parents of twin sons and the grandparents of five.

Great read By Griffin fan Challenging, thought provoking, and leaves you with thirst for more. We are using the book as a study guide in our Wednesday night Bible study. By Stan Taylor This book reads easily, but it is filled with questions and insights that will make the reader think and reflect on their own personal beliefs. If one wants to be spoon fed answers to deep questions about life and a meaningful relationship to God, this is not the book to read. This is a book that must be read thoughtfully and with reflection. If one is willing to ponder the insights that Daniel Day offers on how Jesus himself taught by asking questions, one cannot help but grow spiritually. Whether one is just beginning a faith journey or has spent a lifetime on that journey, this little book is well worth the time one chooses to spent with it.

Those gifts come together magnificently in "If Jesus Isn't the Answer ..." With fabulous wit and keen insight, he wrestles with 11 of Jesus' questions in ways that are bound to enhance the discipleship of all readers. Recommended.
