An eye opener on the benefits of fasting By Surrinder Bains I have always known fasting is a good way to get rid of toxins, but after reading this book, I am much better informed and therefore, motivated to give this a try! Not only are the pros and cons discussed, the reader is also provided with nutritional smoothies and teas and given information on the importance of breaking the fast with foods easy on the digestive system. With the concise information provided, I feel confident to fast and look forward to the many benefits that are listed in this resource.

I enjoyed the anecdotes, and how clearly the information is presented. I really like how honest she is about fasting - it takes effort and there will be hunger pangs but one feels a sense of accomplishment. I'm definitely inspired to incorporate fasting into my life!
