About the Author Elizabeth Elliott has been a trustee for the Downs Syndrome Research Foundation UK for over 15 years and is their current Chair. She has liaised and worked with professionals and families to explain, lobby for, and educate about DS. She is a child and adolescent psychiatrist based in London, UK.

Great for family friends and family By SaintPaul Reader I have been looking for a book for my 7 year old nice to introduce my son's Down syndrome diagnosis. It is a book I want to buy for all of my friends and family because it is a great introduction to what Down syndrome is and what it is not. Not a childish story, instead straight forward information. Also, a few nice drawings to add visual interest for a child.
