About the Author
Christopher D. Hudson served as the General Editor of Strive: The Bible for Men as well as Revolution: the Bible for Teen Guys. He was a consulting editor for the New Men’s Devotional Bible and has created many other best-selling Bible projects. In addition, he has created daily devotional titles such as Day by Day with the Early Church Fathers. Christopher lives with his wife and three children in northern Illinois, where he also serves on the athletic coaching staff of Wheaton College.

By Emtee23 From illustrations to print size this easy to read and follow guide to Bible study is a must for any home study library. While there is no substitute for regular reading of the Word this book makes it easier to put it together. There are maps, timelines, and charts for any age group to understand. Those things alone are worth it's value. The book is an excellent addition to group or independent studies. The outline and detail helps those who need to see word pictures for a better understanding of a vast amount of knowledge and information broken down for them. The picture of the Tabernacle layout in Exodus to the Temple outline, layouts of each, rebuilding timelines, all excellent examples. Fantastic book packed with scripture references and written with easy to read explanations to the individual stories and events in the Bible.

A Very Helpful and Needed Resource By Thad Bergmeier I recently had someone ask me if there was a book that walked through the main stories of the Bible. As I began to peruse my personal library, I found very few resources made available that hits the highlights of the Biblical Narrative. That is, until I remembered this new book by Christopher Hudson. It was exactly what they were looking for in their personal study.This is probably not a book that someone will sit down and read through cover to cover. But it is a book that will be a valuable resource to have on the shelf when you have a question. What did the 40 years of wandering look like in the wilderness? Hudson gives a good summary along with a timeline of their travels. Are you interested in Paul's missionary journeys? There's summarized information that can answer most of your questions.This book is exactly what you would think by its title. It is a quickview guide to the most significant people, places, and events in the Bible. It does not go into detail, but gives you the fly by of the major points in biblical history. I'd be surprised if it was on your shelf if you didn't pick it up from time to time to answer questions you have as you read your Bible.

I love all the illustrations and all the great information that is provided and it ties in very well with the Bible. This is a really great book to tie in with Bible studies or just to read to get an idea of what's in the BIble. I feel this is a great book to have on hand.
