Some of the suggestions will take weeks and months to do and practice, some will take patience and courage to do, other techniques you can do today, tonight or even right NOW, some you'll have to pay and some you can get for free. The tips really vary from people to people, circumstances to circumstances, but most importantly they all work when you need it most. Some techniques in this book were geared for short term benefits, some were for long-term. Regardless, you may want to try different ways to relieve your stress and thus will improve your life.I like the suggestion of watching funny videos on Youtube. I tried it unconsciously on random occasion and it really lighten up my mood and the way I approached things on those days. And I like having a massage. It's pricey but what my husband and I do at home is create a homemade massage oils using essential oils. It's really relaxing and have to say it gave us the time of the week to enjoy each other's company. This book goes beyond just relieving physical stress. I like the part where it talked about Jim Carey and life purpose. The thought of not having a purpose struck me. The only times that I am really happy about something is when I do the things that I love doing, my current job doesn't give me that same feeling. And that doesn't align my purpose.

Got this book to help me deal with stress thinking I can pick up one or two tips from this. Looks like I got a lot on my list to choose from! The book provided practical tips to lessen stress. I know that a lot have been discussed about taking yoga or meditation but this book is more than suggesting to have a state of mindfulness. Looking into one's diet, talking to family and friends, powernap and avoiding acidic foods are some of the tips to overcome stress. It has a good list - an armful of list when you want to fight stress.

Good stress management tips By Jane Wilson Stress can affect everyone at some point in their lives and this book has a lot of different ways that can help to alleviate stress from your life, some of them are common sense but some are more unusual and not really thought about. Some of the ones mentioned are exercise whether it be walking or even martial arts, diet control such as cutting out caffeine and then there are more unusual ones such as head massage and visualising yourself in a better way. It is an informative book that has a lot iof useful ideas that you can implement to reduce stress.
