I found it interesting for the most part, but at certain points, I did kind of lose interest. There are a lot of great facts about these men and at how bizarre some of the things they did/do are but it just did not seem enough to keep my interest until the end. I do love the pictures throughout the book and the print was large enough to easily read. The book was short enough to make it a pretty fast read as well. All in all, I think this is a pretty good read for all ages and might teach the younger teen readers a lot about the men in this book, and how odd they are. I did receive this book at no cost to me for my honest and unbiased review.

Henry Information that you get from the media about a person, country, religious group, or political system will not always be true or never really reflect the entire truth. Why? Because there’s always an end game which is sometimes if not most of the times biased. Although I have some Korean friends I never really know much about North Korea besides knowing that there is a very strict political system there. Reading this book gives me a better historical perspective of the country and its culture. A lot of the “whys and whats” I had regarding some of the things that go on there. To be honest with you, I think you won’t know a nation unless you choose to be unbiased about it and get real facts. I think this book really helps in that way. It could a little intense and violent but this book really pencils out what a person like me would want to know from a book about North Korea. I strongly suggest reading that book.

I don't think we as Americans are taught a lot about North Korean history and how things got to be so bad.Before reading this book I had no idea what a cult of personality was. I found it very interesting to see the history behind it and I think it will help me to follow news stories better and actually have a grasp on whats going on and why. I was given this book for free in exchange for my unbiased review.
